Venus LIVE is an Adult Social & Livestreaming platform for adults aged 18 and over.
1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service, also called our Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of venuslive.co.za and any related apps and services (the “Website”), operated by Venus LIVE (“we”, “us”, “our”). Venus LIVE is an Adult Social & Livestreaming platform. By creating an account or using the Website you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Website.
2. Eligibility: 18+ only
The Website contains sexually explicit content intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, and legally permitted to view adult content in your jurisdiction. By using the Website you confirm that you meet these requirements. We may ask you to verify your age at any time and will close accounts that do not.
3. Accounts
- You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything done through your account.
- One person per account. You may not sell, share or transfer your account.
- Tell us immediately at support@venuslive.co.za if you think your account has been used without your permission.
4. Models and sellers
- Every model must pass our identity and age verification before going live, uploading content or selling.
- You may only stream or upload content in which every person shown is a verified adult who has consented to being recorded and published. You must keep proof of age and consent for everyone appearing in your content and provide it to us on request.
- You are an independent creator, not an employee or agent of Venus LIVE, and you are responsible for your own taxes.
- You set your own prices for tips, private shows and shop items. Venus LIVE keeps a commission on earnings, as shown in your creator dashboard. Earnings are paid out on our regular payout cycle once any minimum payout amount is reached.
- Items sold in the marketplace must be as described, legal to sell and ship, and sent within the time you state.
5. Subscribers and buyers
- Tokens, tips and payments for private shows are for digital services delivered immediately and are generally non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise or we decide a refund is appropriate.
- Content you access is for your own private, non-commercial viewing. You may not record, download, copy, share or resell streams or content.
- Marketplace purchases are agreements between you and the seller. We may help resolve disputes but are not the seller.
6. Prohibited content and conduct
You must not post, stream, sell or request:
- Any content involving anyone under 18, or anyone who appears to be under 18, in any sexual context;
- Content involving non-consent, coercion, trafficking, incest, bestiality, extreme violence, or intoxicated or unconscious people;
- Content of anyone who has not given verified consent, including hidden-camera or “revenge” content;
- Anything illegal in South Africa or where you are located, or that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or privacy;
- Arrangements to meet in person for paid sexual services, or any form of prostitution or escorting;
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, spam, scams, or attempts to take payments outside the Website.
We report suspected child sexual abuse material and trafficking to the authorities. To report trafficking, call the National Human Trafficking Hotline, free and confidentially, on 0800 222 777.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you create. By posting it on the Website you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, stream, promote and distribute it on and in connection with the Website for as long as it stays on the Website. You confirm you have all rights needed to grant this licence.
8. Copyright complaints
We respond to valid copyright notices. See our DMCA Notice page to report content.
9. Moderation, suspension and termination
We may review, restrict or remove any content and suspend or close any account that breaks these Terms or the law, or that puts users or the Website at risk. Where we close a model account for serious breaches such as fraud or illegal content, we may withhold earnings connected to that breach. You may close your account at any time.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The Website is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for content posted or items sold by other users. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or other law that cannot be excluded.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the Website after changes take effect means you accept them.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
